8700 with G700's

Has anyone had experience with this:

Home base in Connecticut with an S8700 and remote offices in Asia that will be spec'd out with G700 with S8300 blades. The G700's will be installed first, which of course is backwards but... They will have their own PRI's and then when the S8700 is installed they will share trunks depending on where they are calling. Due to the distance between sites.. will it be a problem linking these via a VPN connection. It's way to expensive for a pt. to pt. T1 and we don't run Frame here. Just Internet connection with VPN.
