I have an old Intuity Audix system (circa 1995). I put a broadcast announcement into the system about a week ago with a request to release it on OCT 1st. I would now like to cancel that announcement so that it does not distribute. When I log into the mailbox associated with broadcast announcements I can't find any handle to grab and delete the message.

Any ideas?

I ususally delete the broadcast mailbox, then re-create it.

We have the same system. Our broadcast messages are dumped into a broadcast mailbox, which is not the mailbox the broadcast message was created in. We do not allow access to the broadcast mailbox, however we allow some users access in their own mailbox to create broadast messages.

Yes, I went to the braodcast mail box to try to get a handle on the message. I figured if I found it, and deleted it, things would be OK. I even know I've done that in the past A FEW MINUTES after the broadcast message was created. This time it had been created 2 weeks before, and it was still a week before release, and I could not find it anywhere. It did pop out yesterday as orginally programmed. I sure don't understand why things happen the way they do !
