Brief Ring on 6408+ bridged lines
Today I installed two 6408+ (no display) phones the secretary's phone #1 has two call appearances bridged to the boss phone #2 but when the call comes in for the boss on her bridged appearances her phone only rings briefly instead of the normal three rings when he does not pick up the call. They had two 8410d phones before I changed them out and they worked fine. Is this normal for this 6408+ set type?
Thanks Joaquin Telecom Admin Boeing San Antonio, TX

Re: Brief Ring on 6408+ bridged lines
Check both stations parameters for Bridge call alerting to set to Y
Probably one of the stations has the SAC or the CallFwd feature active. Try out the command : Status station xxx to see this condition.. Thetris |
