Question IntuityAudix OutCalling

My Intuity has been checked by Ayaya's Fraud Team to make sure we are not outcalling from voicemail. They say we are not makeing calls from VoiceMail. However, my call accounting system indicates that the voicemail ports extensions are being used to make calls.

When I initiate a number search, for example "1718xxxxxx", I only retreive info. on user extensions. However, when I search just "718xxxxxxx" all the extensions with usage are the extensions for the voicemail ports.

Also, when I initiate a call accounting report for all extensions on voicemail, it shows only inbound and internal calls made.

Does anyone understand what us happening here?
Is my Intituty outcalling?

Re: IntuityAudix OutCalling

718 I would asume is your TAC code for the trunk group.

Audix can be controled from the PBX with COR restrictions, allowing to to dial local only.

Most likely it is outcalling to local numbers for pager alerts or such.

Re: IntuityAudix OutCalling

Could be that they are receiving calls from that number also. If you want to check to see if they are outcalling, assign a station the same COR as your Intuity ports and try calling the number you think they are caling. If you can, then you may have an issue, if you cannot then something else is going on but I doubt they are caling out.

Re: IntuityAudix OutCalling

If your PBX is connected to other sites using DCS or 4/5 digit dialing, users may be pressing *8 (T) and transferring to other sites
