Boot Test IP Diagnostic Tool for Avaya IP Phones
I captured this message from the ProVision support mailing-list and thought it worth a cross-post.
regs, .al. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'd like to draw your attention to a utility that's useful for working with Avaya IP Phones called BootTest. BootTest is available for download from: http://support.avaya.com/BootTest BootTest is a Windows command-line utility that provides verification that a customer's DHCP and TFTP servers have been set up correctly for deployment of Avaya IP Phones. A customer who has set up their LAN for IP Phones ahead of an actual installation can run this tool to verify for themselves that their DHCP and TFTP servers are set up correctly, or they may e-mail you the report to review whether they have their environment set up correctly or not.
