Collecting digits in vector

Setting up small auto attendant via vector, playing an announcement to choose a particular option. I have about 4 options for the caller and want to send them back to the original announcement if no digit is entered. So,

goto step x if digit = 1
goto step x if digit = 2
.
.
goto step x if digit = none

What is the default waittime before PBX decides digits = none?

Re: Collecting digits in vector

Try 'goto step x if digit > 2'

Might work faster, that way if someone enters 3,4,5, etc. they will get redirected to the 'x' step.

I don't think the wait time is configurable unless you want a longer wait time where you would just put a wait time step in after the collect digits step.

Might want to make this "goto step x unconditionally" ... that will cover both NO digits and also undefined digits. i.e. if you only have 4 choices and the user pressed 7.

"change system-parameters features" near the back under CALL CENTER SYSTEM PARAMTERS you will find "Prompting Timeout (secs)." It is configurable in 1 second increments from 4-10.
