System Reset 4 and Restricted stations.

Hello all,
About 2 weeks ago our G3R did a System Reset at level 4. Our research indicates that this occurred b/c the PPN apparently detected some bad memory files that prevented it from doing the SPE interchange. As a result the PPN forced the interchange by doing the System Reset.

Well this week we were notified by our PBX operators that many of our House Phones were no longer restricted to internal calling only. Several calls have been made to Honduras etc... My question is whether anyone has experience similar to this. Whether the system reset would remove the USER CNTRL RESTR?

P.S.-- We use this method of restricting these phones b/c occasionally PBX needs to allow access to House Phones for Conference groups, otherwise we would assign a restricted COR to these stations.

Did you call Avaya about the reset?

sounds like you got a little corruption, have you restored your translations?

Re: System Reset 4 and Restricted stations.

Believe it or not, I find it easier to get answers here than from Avaya. Currently I am researching our service agreement with my supervisor, since we aren't sure what tech support level we subscribe to. With recent budget cuts some contracts were put on a per call basis.
The translations have been restored and the memory files seem to be intact. When the reset occured it appeared to affect our administered connections(PMS,CDR...) as well as some other data ckts. I believe it did cause the trouble we are investigating, but thought I would ask the group to see if any other Hospitality related PBX's encountered a similar issue. Thanks for your reply.
