I'm having trouble getting a user's message waiting led to work on his 8110 phone. The led is good, I point someone else's mailbox to it with a message waiting and it blinks like mad. I put a new message in his voicemail box, make sure the proper extension is listed under "message lamp ext" and nothing. I've deleted both the mailbox and the station and re-added them with no luck. If I do a change sub #### and actually change it to a different ####, then it will works fine. The only thing I haven't done is reboot audix. Any ideas? Please tell me I'm missing something as I have way too much time into one little led light.... Thanks,

I created a bunch of voicemail boxes BEFORE I configured our new PRI's to another building.
Once everything was up and running, everything would work except their message lamps would never come on for new mail. When I did a 'sta station' in the definity it DID NOT show AUDIX mail waiting.
Avaya had me reboot, which reset the indexs, so I am told.

BTW, Avaya sent me a document that recommeneds rebooting Audix once every 90 days to clear and re-establish indexs.

Must have been the index thing, a reboot worked. Thanks for the info....
