Question Vector that transfers to Audix to do last name lookup

I've written this before at a previous job, but I can't remember how to write a vector that will allow a caller to be transferred to Audix and perform a search by last name to transfer to a specific person.

I am helping to open a new call centre and we do not have an auto attendant or a warm body to route any emergency calls to the agents.

Can anyone help?!

Thanks!

Why not use Audix as the auto attendant?

I'm assuming that you know how to do the Audix part ... if not re-post and we'll cover those instructions. However, assuming that the Auto-Attendant mailbox in Audix that is handling the "dial-by-name" task is x1234 then the vector step that would place your caller into that box is:

messaging skill xxx for extension 1234 (where xxx is the Audix Hunt Group)

regs,
