Does anyone know how to change a CMS password via CentreVu Supervisor. I have looked in the help menu and it just says to type a new password in the New Password text box. So how do you get to that point?
I know you can do it in the old cms. |

Re: CentreVu Supervisor Passwords
Hi
You need to be logged on to the cms server via a terminal emulator e.g. SunOS 5.8 login: Login with your default password and to change a password you use the commands:- passwd [then the users id] You are prompted to enter a new password then to reenter the password. To force the user to change their password use :- passwd -f [then the users id] You will not see any response but it will force them to change their password once they have logged on. I hope this helps if you need anything more msg me. l8rs |
