Hoping someone can help me out with the following:
We have Definity G3 with an Intuity Audix 5.1. We have a local number that comes into our system on Trunk group 1, and we have an 800# that comes in on DNIS to another number, both ring into an automatted attd. When we have an emergency closing we hit the night button and would like all calls to start being answering by the night greeting. The local number (trkgrp 1) works. In trunk group paraments it has day destination to our day attd mailbox, and night destination to our night attd mailbox, when the night button is hit, it knows to go to the night mailbox. However on our 800 the day greeting continues to play. The 800# DNIS (58999) is programmed as a hunt group in the Def. going to vmail...in the Audix auto attd routing table we have it set up to go to bus1 (weekly business schedule) which is from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and to play day attd mailbox for day and night attd mailbox for night. I was hoping there would be a parameter to follow system night mode over the weekly business schedule, however there is not that option. so I tried in the hunt group to put night destination (definity) to the night mailbox however it is still giving the day greeting when the night button is hit. I then tried creating a new dummy hunt number with a day and night schedule to play only the night message, and made my 800# DNIS's night destination to this hunt. It still did not work....does anyone have any ideas? Does anyone else use a seprate DNIS for their 800# than their local trunk group number? Thanks.... |

Re: Night button, night greeting.....
is the autoattendant calling 0? or the attendants extension? you should be calling the LDN (listed directory number)
Another option is to use attendant vectoring. we have a check in all our vectors for an emergency agent login ID. this shuts off the entire call center as well as the operator. |

Re: Night button, night greeting.....
Quote:
2) change listed-directory-numbers ("cha list") 3) Add 58999 to the LDN and place your night destination number in the night destination field. You're done. Whenever the attd presses the night button calls will follow the night destination field. During all other times the calls will ring at the attendant console. If this won't work for you let me know. I have a few other tricks. regs, .al.
