We have taken more office space close to an existing office, we are intending to link the Definity Prologix switches in each with a DCS link. For this purpose we have obtained a couple of Patton 1088/K G.703/704 to DSL modems

and a circuit for them to operate over, we know that the circuit is okay. We put this idea to our Avaya reseller and maintanence people and they said yes that will work, however, with two days to move day and they are struggling to make it work.
Can anyone tell me:
1) is this setup even feasable or was someone wrong from the outset?
2) can anyone point me to any documentation that might explain this setup in any detail?

I think the t1 tie line that user is starting from is what we are after.
We have a DCS link in another location that runs over a carrier provided circuit that is presented as G.703. Basically we want to use these modems to mimic such a circuit.
