GAM Alarms SME A 1 how to disable

I send alarm notification via snmp and have turned off notify on the INADS port. In the web interface I see GAM event 2 Alarm service failure - unable to report alarms. The question is how disable this error message? It's reporting that the Far end alarm service is down and this is ok because I only want error reporting via snmp port.

What are you sending the SNMP alarms to? (just curious)

I assume this is an S8700. you disabled the INADS number in the linux box itself?

Yes, its an S8700 and I have disabled the INADS number via linux. We are sending SNMP alarms to a Enterprise I device when an alarm is detected the Enterprise I will then dialout to our monitoring center.
