Post Which T1 should i clock from?

I have local service from PaeTec Communications and LD from AT&T, which clock should I be timing from???

We clock from our local dial tone providers ie Qwest.

It dosen't really matter because you'll have a primary and secondary source anyway. I always clock from a 4ESS as primary which would be AT&T. They are more dependable.

I prefer to clock off of my locals if possible. Bili is right though, you will have 2 sources so it should'nt really matter.
I have clocked through AT&T as well with no issues

We always use AT&T, I don't think we have ever had a problem except losing the access circuit.

Just make sure the Primary and Secondary are the two with the least ammount of errors. ;-)

Your best bet is a stratum 5 clock source. ISDN PRI requires an S5 so it is always a good choice. Next best would be a long distance T1 as they always :devil: provide S5. I would not reccomend a local T1 as it may not connect to a stratum 5 clock. Straight T1 service does not require S5 clocking so it may only route to lower level clock.
