Problems with Audix

Hi All,

Before I contact my business partner to tackle this on a T&M basis I figure I'll try to pinpoint this further...

My audix system is having trouble. When calling the system, 6 of the ports will answer a call but not process the call (i.e. it hangs without collecting digits and the caller hears nothing but silence).

I first shut down the voice system, then shut down the Intuity. During this process I noticed Audix reporting that some of the services were not running. After the system came back on line the problem persisted.

I've busied out the ports so people do not get hung. I'm thinking the problem is one of the voice boards, but before I have it replaced I just wanted to see if anyone here has any suggestions incase this may be a software issue...

TIA,
Steve

I am assuming this was working just fine when an "all of a sudden..." happened?

Re: Problems with Audix

Kole,
Yes the ports have been functional in the past.

G3R-

I cannot access the Intuity via TCP/IP Telnet....and that has worked in the past. The Intuity has a LAN card installed and the card is responding to ping requests from my laptop.

FYI this is a Intuity Audix V4 MAP40 connected to a Definity G3siV6. The Intuity has two voice boards with 10 RTU active ports.

Have you changed anything in the TCP/IP administration? If you have IP address's in the DNS servers and those have changed, then you will have this problem, Also check the subnet and Gateway, If your IT department changed anything it will impact the Audix
