Used to have CompTIA A+ but I think it has expired. Now just passed ACA, which gives me the super-cheese TIA-CTP cert automatically. OK I'm still waiting for the Cert in the mail, but I've paid my 30 bucks.
Very interested in pursuing the ACS if anyone could provide some study materials as smithermang has requested in another thread it would appreciated. P.S. After reading all those Westnet books I felt the test was fairly easy. Only scored an 85 but I think some of the questions were a little obscure and put in the test to prevent high scoring.

No........ they're there because if you don't have a deep, details explicit understanding of token ring networks you will be a dismal failure and never be able to hold a real job in the networking world. ;)

I have an Network Alchemy Gold acreditation from way way back as wellas the Avaya ACA accreditation.
The ACA Exam is a joke!, my preperation consisted of reading a sample paper & scored over 85% in 15 min flat! A number of the questions were related to ammerican telecoms networks - can anyone explain why these were in the European exam? |
