CTP Certification

Avaya's website has CTP Certification available. I've never heard of this. Does anyone know about it?

They are no longer showing it on the web site.

It is still there. You have to pass the core ACN test and then the CTP information will appear on your screen when you log in. Hope that helps. I just got my CTP certificate in the mail yesterday.

What is the certification? I passed the ACACN, is there another test?

There is no test. It is a reciprocal agreement between TIA and Avaya that you will automatically qualify for the CTP certification if you have passed the ACA test. It should be on the Avaya Learning page after you log in. It does cost $30 to get the certificate.

Wierd ... I don't see it. I have passed my ACACN and still see no reference to CTP.

How do I get a login for the Avaya site. I would like to get certified but don't know anything about avaya'a cert process.

Can anyone explain how to begin and what the certification is for?

It depends on when you certified from what I have been told, if you took the "older" certification the CTP information does not show up when you log into Avaya U. I only know this because I went round and round with Avaya a couple months ago on the same issue. Check this site out: http://www.ctpcertified.com/ it basically explains why you would want CTP in the first place.

I am a training advisor for Benchmark New Horizons (www.benchmarklearning.com) in Minneapolis. On May 24-28 we are actually going to be delievering a public offering of CTP for the public. Please let me know if anyone has any additional questions about CTP.
