Re: New to Avaya Certification
Hi, i cant answer your question but i wonder if you can answer mine. I'm trying to network telephones in a similar way as computers are netwroked. only simple features such as ring, busy tone. What device do i have to purchase to have about ten phones networked?

Re: New to Avaya Certification
This is off topic for this thread but what you want is a PBX. Avaya has a number of small systems, Merlin, Legend, Partner, Spirit. I can't help you on the small systems because I never worked on them, just large systems.
Go to the Avaya category and click on one of the topics I mention above. Ask your question there and you will get answers.

I think that what you are looking for is the AVAYA ONE-X series IP phones, they can network without a pbx, just like PCs, they work as a P2P scheme, but you can add gateways to link your PSTN lines or SIP lines for example.
