Avaya Certified Expert

Having already passed the ACS Implementation - IP Office, I qualified for my ACE today by passing the ACS Implementation - Messaging and ACS Design - Messaging VUE tests.

WooHoo!

Re: Avaya Certified Expert

I'll have to do this sooner or later. Already have the VOIP Implementation ACS, Messaging would probably be the easiest to accomplish at this point. On the list, but not at the top. Customers first...

Any recommended reading for messaging implement?

I took all of the pre-reqs and then attended the Hands On workshop for Modular Messaging implementation and then followed that up with all of the Message Networking online classes at avaya-learning.com. Taking all of the on-line courses that you can at avaya-learning.com re: Messaging would help. The implementation test is a BEAR. Passing score is jut 69.

Re: Avaya Certified Expert

hmm... I have taken the MM for exchange class and have been working with it and the MSS version for a while now. I have a strong Octel networking background so the Message networking portion I should be able to kind of skim through. Do you remember if the test seemed to focus on any portion more?

It was pretty equal across all products. I took a couple of online Network Messaging classes and I think that's what pushed me over the top. They're pretty strong on capacities, number of languages, etc.
