I am experiencing a delay when dialing 911 on my Definity G3r of up to 12
seconds before the call is completed. This causes most users to feel that
their call is not going to go thru, and so they hang up, and try again, and
again. I use both ISDN-PRI and analog ground-start trunks to carry the
calls, but it doesn't seem to effect the delay time. Is this an anomaly of
the Definity switch, or have some of your administrators been able to
eliminate the delay? Can you send this question out to your membership for
me? I would really like to know if I can correct this issue. Thank you.
