Haven't tried it but there are some significant differences between the Modem2 option and the ATM4 option.

1) Modem2 = V.90, ATM4 = V.32.

2) Modem2 can be used to answer incoming analog modem calls on any trunk. The ATM4 modem is fixed to the first trunk, and when switched on that trunk can't be used for voice calls.

So the ATM4 option is clearly meant only for low speed maintenance access.
