We have a IPO 406 and a 403 connected via VOIP using SCN (2.1 (27)). We are using 2030 handsets at both sites.
My issue is that many of our users (bless ‘em) are keen on switching their phones out of group as they think they are far to important for menial tasks such as answering the telephone

. To get around this we run soft console at both sites and use its facilities to see which phones are in group and also force phones in group remotely.
The questions I have are
1) Is it possible to find out the group status of an extension without using soft console (I would like the managers to be able to see the group status of phones in there department)
2) The soft console solution does not work across the sites, is there a work around for this.
