iPMPro thru an ISA server

I managed to install and deploy VoIP on a LAN using iPhone Manager Pro and USB headsets. The next step would be to allow the usage of the softphone thru our VPN.

I am having a hard time putting it to work. I connected a PC on the external side of the firewall and connected to the VPN (ISA server, PPTP). I am able to log on to the IP Office using iPhone Manager and I can make and receive calls, but there's some problem with the voice path.

First, I can't establish a voice path with any of the codecs except for G.729(a) 8k CS-ACELP. But even with that codec the outside caller listens to a 'cut' speech pattern. At every second the speech path fails. This is not a bandwidth issue, I am connected at 100 Mbps to the ISA server.

I can't figure this out, has anyone experienced this or has any clue about what might be causing it? I am running out of ideas, so any help is appreciated.
