I see two problems! You upgraded the firmware on your switch but you didnt upgrade your Manager software or your voicemail pro software. You need 4.1.27 of manager and at least 2.1.13 of VM Pro. As a common practice I would always connect my voicemail server directly to my IP Office and then use another port to connect the corporate LAN that way the IP Office and voicemail can talk at 100 MB. and they would still be able to talk to the rest of the network at 10MB. Avaya suggests 100 / half for the voicemail NIC so this is probably the source of your ugly sounding voicemails. The switch on the IP403 is fairly decent switch so its to your advantage if you use it.
