Re: 4412D+ message light won't display
Could be a couple of things. I'm assuming that since you've got a Magix system, you also have Merlin Messaging (it's always good to state what equipment you're using).
If it's only your extension that has the problem, the "phone status" of your mailbox may be set to "without a phone", meaning that the system won't bother trying to light up your message light when you get a message. Log into the system administrator's mailbox, 2 for extensions, dial your extension number, and listen to the prompts for "phone ststus", see how your extension is set, and set it to "with a phone" if necessary.
If it's everyone's extension, check to be sure that all voice mail ports are "rotary enabled", found in SPM under the Extensions menu.
