I have MM 5.0 without that problem. Avaya had that problem with 4.5 and 4.6 but 5 was suppose to fix it. I contacted AVAYA support they sugggest the problem is with the work station not recognizing the server DNS. Of course they are supposing you are using DNS. They recommend to test, use the IP address in the server ID and see if it clears. If it does clear contact your network support group if not they did not provide an answer.
