Yes, then I definitely got a "line" of some sort... when they installed the 8700 they said (1) you can't put a card in slot a01 of the EPN carrier, and (2) TN767 cards won't work when you upgrade from G3si to 8700. Is the a01 statement true, to your knowledge?
