A Phone Man Joins the Army
A phone man joins the Army. During Basic Training while on the firing range he notices that none of the targets are dropping despite a careful aim and a steady squeeze. The phone man is undaunted, however, and he carefullty examines his weapon for any defects. Not noting any he once again takes aim down the range and squeezes off a few rounds.
To his dismay, no targets drop. Still, he is unwilling to give up. He disassembles his weapon and cleans it thoroughly while carefully examining each part for any possible problem as he reassembles the weapon. He then carefully takes aim and gently squeezes off a few rounds.
Again, the targets refuse to drop. Now, the phone man is getting pissed. He knows that he's done everything exactly as he was trained and he knows that the weapon is functioning perfectly. He stands and places his finger directly over the end of the barrel and aims down range. Upon sighting one of the targets and steadying his weapon he ever so gently squeezes the trigger and immeniately blows off the end of his finger.
The phone man then places his hands on either side of his face, cupping his lips so that the sound of his voice will carry and shouts down range, "IT'S GOOD LEAVING HERE!"
