Depending on how many buttons the turret phones you're looking to replace have, then functionally yes you could use 4424D+ phones with 4450DSS units attached, on an IP Office system where you can program speed dial buttons onto the DSS units. This would not work on a Magix though, as the DSS is very inflexible on Magix and cannot be programmed with speed dial buttons (sorry I didn't think of that the other day when you were at my office - smile)

The big thing the turret type systems offer is the kind of redundancy that non-turret PBX's would consider to be overkill. But - you pay big bucks for that.
