Can anyone help me with getting an TN763D aux trunk setup to work with and Universal paging access module (UPAM). We have a G3v6. The aux trunk port that we have configured in the paging loudspeaker form is cross connected to the page port on the UPAM . The TAC is 185 and COR is 0 (internal only).

The dipswitches on the UPAM are configured for loopstart. We "like idiots" assumed that with loopstart we should be able to use an auto-icom button and send the page to a station.

Do I have to create a trunk group with loop start?

Any help would be appreciated.
