S8300 echo

I have a customer with an S8300 Media server and a DuVoice voice mail system. The customer is having trouble with echo ONLY when leaving the message on the DuVoice. Playback is fine. Avaya has tweeked the gain values to their max but does not get rid of the trouble. Has anybody had this trouble and could tell me what needs to be done to fix this?
