backup and recovery procedures R24

My company has an option 81, running X11 R24. Recently there has been a big push for disaster recovery. Since this system has been, and will continue to be, the oldest piece of functional telecomm equipment in the building there is much concern over its availability.

The capabilities of the support team are limited to minor TNB/DNB changes. We are now being tasked with designing a disaster recovery procedure. The hardware itself is under maintenance, and the wiring is largely documented. The only remaining piece is the software and configuration of the switch. In a server, we would simply take a backup of the file system and system state to restore onto a cleanly rebuild box.

What are the procedures for creating a full system backup, and subsequently restoring said backup, on a Nortel Meridian running X11 R24?
