Assuming an R7 or better. Earlier versions require data mods, processor channel assignments, or ISDN-PRI via PACCON RTUs and the PACCON circuit pack.

1) add ds1 ppccss (port network, carrier, slot)
b8zs, esf, isdn-pri . The rest gets tricky. I have attached a document to assist.

2) add sig xx or add sig next
With a TN767 it must be FAS (Facility Associated Signalling). The channel will be 24, so enter ppccss24. Don't worry about the trunk group assignment.

3) add trunk xx or next
type is isdn. the service type is most likely "public-network" but that's going to depend on your carrier. most of the other defaults will work.

These are guidelines, not absolutes. Setting up an ISDN-PRI trunk group is not a simple task. There are lots of variables that you simply learn with experience. The entire setup can be activated in less than 15 minutes by an experienced tech working in conjunction with a competent service provider technician ... but that comes from many late nights of beating your head against the wall and dealing with Telcopleagics at the LEC end who end up wasting your time.

Good Luck!
