There is a feature button 'timer' that can be programmed on any set with a display. When pressed it starts a counter on the display, up, not count down. When pressed again it clears. Have not heard of it being used in conjunction with Aux though. I guess the agent could just press it when they go to lunch and see what it says when they get back. Have you considered using Aux Work Codes and CMS reports?
