"1905" (along with 1201, 1202, 1203, etc.) is an Avaya holdover and about as useless as anything comes. I usually eliminate all of the 1xxx entries and simply have a single "1" 11-digit ARS entry and then 2, 3, 4, all the way to 9 all as 10-digit entries (or 7-digit if that's the case). This covers all bases ... a 1+ for all LD calls and 2-9 for all local calls. The assumption is that the user is smart enough to dial the number correctly and if not a phone company intercept announcement will explain it to them.
