Another point about the TDM terminator. When you seat it, make absolutely certain that you are not off a row either vertically or horizontally. It will insert easily so do a visual inspection using a flashlight before restoring power. Make sure the orientation is the same as it was in the other cabinet. Do not turn it upside down.

You can move an SCC carrier between a G3si and a G3r with no problem, just follow the steps that Al already explained.
