would you happen to know if Avaya standards are to have it at autosense becasue most of my remote sites are set to autosense but 1 just happens to be at 100 so I'm trying to be consistent and eliminate any of this being issues with any functionality.

I think you might have missed the point. The speed of the S8300 is a phantom speed. It really has no speed as it has no ethernet port (per se) but, rather, rides on the backplane of the Gxxx gateway stack. It is the speed of the Gxxx gateway ethernet port that you connect back to your corporate LAN that you need to lock.
