You may also want to check to see if clock source is something that can be set on the CSU (not all CSUs are straight pass-thru). Even if the PBX is using external clocking off the T1, if your CSU is configured to use internal clocking or the PBX transmit rather than the telco side of the T1 for its clock, you can end up slipping.
