Test 144 is a counter for slips. Whenever you test the DS1 board this will indicate the number of slips that have happened since the last time the board was tested. It should pass with no errors the second time you test it. If it is still failing, your T1 is slipping and that is why you are dropping calls.
It could be a CO problem, but before calling them type "display sync". What is your primary sync source? It needs to be a T1 and not internal clocking. To verify that your PBX is clocking correctly, type "status sync". The answer should be the T1 you saw when you displayed sync. If it shows the sync to be 1A, type "disable sync" then "enable sync". Wait a few seconds and status sync again. If it is the T1, run your test twice on the new DS1 card, if you are still slipping, now call the vendor and tell them the T1 is slipping.
