You cannot buy release 9.5 any more nor can you get updates or additional features activated. What ever you have now is what you will have forever. If you need more ports because your company is growing, won't happen. If you decide to add IP phones and that was not in the plans when you installed the PBX, you will be limited to the few that come default with the switch, I believe that is about 20. It requires traditional cabinets which themselves are becoming harder to find parts for because Avaya is no longer supporting them.

It will also not support the newer cards (like a VAL), just a couple things to think about.
