There is more to it than just putting that number in there. Avaya needs to know who is calling them. If you are not in their data base, just calling them will not work. You also need to have Avaya maintenance.
When you call Avaya to buy a maintenance program, one of the things they do is put that number in there and test it to make sure it works.
