sawasc,
Did you setup a independant TFTP server for downloading of upgrade scrips and application files including the settings.txt file to the IP phones.
Everytime de IP phones lost connection and repair they connect to the TFTP server.
I have 46xx IP Phones with a S8700 and it works great.
