since these are all IP phones you can look into the 46xxsettings.txt file which is distributed to all Avaya IP phones from the TFTP server when booting. There are many default options in here you can change.

Also, you can manipulate the volume of trunks and internal calls. I wouldn't recommend doing this, as it does take some playing with to get right, but for those really picky customers that have to have it just perfect, I've had to go in and make some changes.

the command is Change Location-parameters
