IP Trunking Issue

I currently have standalone G3si out in one of my Sales offices. There is an IP Trunk between the G3si and one of my EPNs at another area location which is how 5 digit dialing is passed. In the G3si, (Location A) there is a TN799C clan board which acts as the near end point. The far end connection is at TN799DP (Location B). Currently, at the location A, we are experiencing sporadic dropped calls. Had avaya take a look and they couldn't find any trouble. Though with the tech, i found that the TN799DP at Location B is set to 10/half. Usually with IP trunking, you would want to have it set to 100 full, but they advised the reason most likely it was set to 10/half is because the TN799C at location A which is experiencing the dropped calls can only handle 10/half. Is this a true statement? I'm wondering if the cause of the dropped call issue at Location A is because of this setting. The location is growing big time, so call volume is increasing pretty rapidly. I am getting a intermettent alarm on the TN799DP at location B, but the board is testing just fine. Going to replace it anyway, but was wondering about this TN799C/DP settings. If anyone could provide assistance, I would appreciate it.
