The study guides are the recommended courses for each certification and they are not free. The Avaya certifications have not achieved public recogition like Cisco and Microsoft certs have so you can't go to your local book store and buy books for them. If your employer requires them, they will help pay for them.
The assessments for each course are free so you might start with those to see what you need to spend more time on.
The only general book I can suggest is a book on TCP/IP. Almost all the Avaya certs go into this to some extent, some quite heavily. If you understand TCP/IP you will be in very good shape for Avaya certs.
