I had that thought as well - to do it at the trunk level - just thought it might be "cleaner" do do it another way, doesnt sound like thats possible.
I use public-network - because we do use "tie" for real tie trunks - p2p T1s between an 8500 and 8700... I guess you could probably use either though. Can you still have a DID if its not on a PRI - ISDN line? Their is probably a technically correct term - and the "term used" answer!
