We have a G3 version 6. Most of the phones have lines capable of only dialing inside extensions and 911. The operator typically gives users an outside line when they call and request one. There are several managers who want to be able to go anywhere and access an outside line afterhours for equipment troubleshooting. We do not want to hand out authorization codes because of bad past experiences. We have found in the past that things like this get passed along and abused way too easily. So.... There are guards onsite 24/7 that are willing to transfer calls to an outside line. They are using an 8410D type phone. They have a cos that is basically unrestricted. I basically want them to be able to answer a call, press transfer -9 - transfer and the caller should have access to an outside line. This does not work. When I bridge their phone to mine and test, it works fine. It will not work from their phone (I get the stutter tone after dialing a number from the phone that requests the outside line).

Any ideas? I hope that i am missing something very simple here. I know I could just transfer to a TAC, but that would allow them to dial any number including 900 numbers and I don't want to go there.
