why are you thinking that way?
My opinion is that if you do the core exam first, it gives you a sort of fundament for the specific features avaya provides. On the other hand, if you think your base knowledge is enough to work with avaya equipement, why not take the core assessement right away?
For those people who dont understand basics of networking is it very preferrable to study for aca core and pass the core exam before starting with product electives. We are training some colleges at my office and because they were realy tradition pbx oriented (Say no ip....) they had to do core exam first. Now that they have passed they all feel much more confident in starting with communication manager.
