It actually is not a recommendation, it is a limitation. One IPSI will support no more than five port networks, period.

I don't have an S87xx server I can look at right now so I will let someone else tell you if there is a command to identify which port networks are connected through which IPSI. Unless something has changed in recent loads, you cannot tell a port network which IPSI to use.
