How long do your applications work before they start acting up?
Longshot - Is the CTC server service running when you restart the server - or are you just rebooting the box without checking the status of the service?
CTC requires a hardware key to activate it - on earlier versions, it was a parallel port adapter. If the key is not in place, CTC services will start but automatically shut down after a fixed time. Make certain the hardware key is in place, and if it is, that it is not damaged in some way.
